“Freedom,”starts things off like a army going off the war. The instrumentation gets the blood pumping, the heart racing. The guitars come in with a jagged one-two, the beat starts increasing until you’re headbanging like a madman. The vocals enter and then you’re off on another journey, the story begins.

“Maximus,” goes orchestral and grand. The opening few seconds of the song are simply superb, what follows is phenomenal. A galloping rhythm that gets the listener headbanging along with the tempo and tenor.

“Warriors,” is an anthem. The lead guitar melody soars on the edge of light, turning through and delivering something fantastic. The vocals immediately hook the listener in as well pushing the listener into something new and exciting.

“Fight In The Shade,” mixes together brutality and softness, luring the song into a new direction entirely.

“Odin’s Sons,”starts with drums and the sounds of horns, the guitars come in then, with a low turn. Melody shifts and changes, bringing forth a raging storm of a riff, whilst the drums take on the life of a new world. The vocals snarl.

“Banners High,” gets the anthemic feeling front and centre with a good mixture of melody and pulse. The vocals bring the song to life, mixing together varying melodies to inform the chills that form on the listener’s arms.

“Mirror, Mirror,” is an absolute monster of a song. Filled with brilliant riffs that shift and pulsate with energy and hope, it immediately captures the listener’s attention and ensures they are paying full attention.

“Azrael,” another anthemic song, that combines vivid lyrical imagery with a beautiful riff.

“Battle Of Marathon,” jives together. The duelling guitars shift in tenor and focus, slowly easing their way into a competitive riff off. The vocals enter and soar, painting the story that needs to be told, compelling.

“Warking,” finishes things off in style, shining a light on powerful riffs and gang chants. A superb finish.
