“Enough,” the title track of the new EP by Vic Allen begins with stop and clap as the guitars then begin their soulful journey. The vocals then kick in and the song goes into a new level, the song twists and turns through the different melodical journeys and wanting for something new. “Ghost Town,” takes on an eerie quality, fitting of the name of the song. The guitars are turning and twisting, echoing through the pathways. The vocals are precise and haunting, turning the tale through the world as it grows and perhaps shakes a little.

“Give Up,” is reflective, precise and deeply on point. The acoustic guitar sets the tone nicely, bringing together some fascinating growth and direction. As the vocals work their way in, there’s a sense of despondency and then change as things begin working in to the world. “Talk,” gets a bit sarcastic, turning through and twisting the way the melodies are shaped and phrased. Allowing for something more to grow, an interesting shifting tonality to everything.

The EP is out on October 18th.
