“Tensions,”by Sounds Synonymous opens things up, slowly wheeling through the distorted underground, rolling the pressure and hitting the right notes, showing off the scope and perception within.
“Never Again,” by Ralph Williams and the Wright Brothers, is an absolute rager. That opening riff salvo is something else to behold. A fascinating twist in the tale.
“Babylon,” by Conception, moves with swagger and grit. A riff that is backed up by some fascinating vocal lines.
“Plastic Thunder,” by Bitter Creek hits hard. A song and a half that turns through and flashes in and out.
“All Together,” by The Rubber Memory slows things down but throws in riffs galore to ensure the listener knows where the grooves are coming from.
“Mr Sun,” runs the gauntlet, First State Bank hit a real diamond here.
“Hard On Me,” rolls with the punches, pushing the narrative through and ensuring that the chaos is shown.
“Electric Soul,” shimmers through the tempest. Frozen Sun really knew what they were doing when they crafted the lines on this one.
“The Roach,” slams down hard.
“Head Collect,” finishes things up nicely.
The album is out on 26th June via Riding Easy.
