STARTING OUT

Toledo Steel were formed in 2011 in Southampton, UK. Playing a unique blend of traditional and power metal, the band grew from strength to strength and honed their skills in the UK and European metal scene. Their ability to weave their complex songs together to form a coherent and compelling live set won them a great many plaudits from pundits all over the continent, and in 2018 their hard work paid off, when they signed with Dissonance Productions to release their debut album.

No Quarter was and remains a seminal album in the metal revival within the UK. Combining narrative storytelling with compelling lyrics and fantastic guitar work, the album was filled with standout songs that have served to add to Toledo Steel’s mythos. The live performance of these songs only heightened the aura around the band.

As fans wait for the second Toledo Steel album, the band released an Early Years Anthology which details their evolution over the past decade into a band who can confidently compete with the best of them.
