“The Cambrian Explosion,” is slow, thoughtful and an interesting mix of instrumentation. “Eternal Recurrence,” a masterpiece, that slowly grooves and shakes with the urges of metal and lore. “Ordovicciium,” a snarling monster that challenges and never lets up. “Age of Sea Scorpions,” throws in interesting melodies and time changes to keep the listener hooked.
“Devonian,” a song that filters through, rushes and then sweeps away the pain and doubt. “Rainforest Collapse,” a song that shifts and changes bringing with it some interesting moments. “The Great Dying,” is chaotic and finishes things up nicely.
