Soren Anderson brings about some fascinating new developments on his album Guilty Pleasures:

“City of Angels,” starts with chatter, it quickly moves into something a bit more moving. With the drums pounding out a solid beat, Anderson shreds to his heart’s content showing just why he is such a talented guitarist. “Agent Wells,” takes a deep dip and moves through the grooves. Bringing fascinating licks to the fore whilst also showing off Anderson’s great sense of rhythm. “The Kid,” moves quickly, and delivers something jaw dropping, it is so damned good. “Satori,” is epic, a slow build that gradually moves into a heart breaking ballad and tribute. “Skybar,” slinks and slides through into something new and quite entertaining.

“Bad Weather,” shreds and lets loose and quite frankly it’s a fascinating journey to see. “Beirut,” brings out a darkened edge, shifting and changing, bringing through lines and lines of darkness to ensure the listener truly feels the hair on the back of their neck stand up. “Bird Feeder,” moves quite nicely, shifting the tone toward something a bit more major key, and then brings the dissonance back right at you. “1983,” takes the tone and shifts things through and up, slowly weaving a tale as old as time. “Bipolar,” takes the charge and leads through and about.
