Skanners, the legendary Italian Heavy Metal band return with their new album Temptation, eleven songs of blistering heavy metal.
“In Flammen 666,” is a soaring rocker, breaking through the speed barriers and piercing the listener’s very pulse. “Rays In The Darkness,” comes in with something epic on the riffage, it slowly moves into a grooving riff. The vocals are on point, delivering a sharp one two counterpoint. “Rolling In The Fire,” starts with the opening riff being hummed before it comes in with a bite and a snap. Things only get more awesome from there. “Cut Of My Heart,” slows things down and brings about the thoughtfulness and a space for breathing in. “Demons of Tomorrow,” is fast, blaring and downright heavy. A masterpiece in its sheer size and depth. “”The Eye,” takes a twist and a turn, bringing some soothing melodies to the fore, before it goes completely mad.
“Lost In Paradise,” continues the trend. Big and bold leads, with a pounding bass in the middle to keep everything balanced. “The Letter,” is a pounding, melodic number, that tells a fascinating story and ensures the listener is hooked. “Back To The Past,” takes it up a notch, delivering a seering metal performance, worthy of the name. Big and bold, slithering through and around. “Pray With My Angel.” a thoughtful number that twists and shakes. “Always Remember,” a haunting number, that slowly builds onto the passing of time.
