Die By Sun comes in with an interesting melody on the guitar, strumming and humming, the melodies are arranged in such a manner to fit in with the theme. As the guitars get heavier so to do the feelings that they elicit. In The Fire And The Rain is built on a solid riff, pounding away, with growing confidence and aggression. No Way Back shifts and turns with precision, building up as time goes by, to reach a crescendo by the end. Gathering Stone is another song built on a fearsome riff, and one that really makes it heavy, with the vocals building in quite nicely.
Closer To Death comes barrelling in with a product of metal and synth, ensuring some fascinating grooves. Everyone Knows is dark and foreboding, built on the riff changes and the melodies that shift in and out. Fall From On High is an interesting mix of soft and dark, producing melodies that change and shift within themselves. You and I is an interesting closer, a heavily riff orientated song.
