Metal legends Motorhead return with a brand live album, from Berlin, 2012.

“I Know How To Die,” starts things off and immediately one can feel the energy and the power within the band. There is confidence and then there is Motorhead.

“Stay Clean,” moves like a freight train through the turning ground, spinning and burning with energy and passion.

“Over The Top,” roars into life with a burning sense of justice and destiny. A song that really gets the listener going and the heart racing.

“String Theory,” works its magic like a monster machine driving the day. Phil Campbell is absolutely electric.

“The Chase Is Better Than The Catch,” has Motorhead’s swagger and groove down to a tee. Trademark snarls and grit comes burning out through the wire.

“You Better Run,” is menacing. Crawling with sinister melodies and turning on the wire, it brings about a shifting groove that ends the world.

“Going To Brazil,” is a rocker, plain and simple.

“Ace of Spades,” is as good as the day it was released. Filled with energy, passion and groove, it is the quintessential rock classic.

“Overkill,” roars into life, and finishes things off in grand style.

What an album and what a way to remember Lemmy Kilmister. The album is out on 23rd April via Silver Lining Music/Motorhead Music. Do yourself a favour and get the record.
