Manam open up with “Nigredo,”a song which takes the listener on a fascinating journey and ensures that there’s a mixture of melodies and tapestries put forth.

“The Enclosing Veil,” comes in hard, like a battering ram, ensuring that the listener is hooked from the get go.

“Storm,” snaps and crackles with electricity, bringing together an interesting array of emotions and powerful displays, thus bringing things together for a fitting climax.

“Albedo,” swarms the listener. Fusing together a monstrous riff with some searing vocals to deliver a performance par excellence.

“The Silver Bride,” brings about some interesting technicalities, and a haunting sense of reality for all involved.

“Citrinitas,” is an absolute rocker. A song that is filled with power and energy. Manam truly grasp the bull by the horns here.

“Ouroboros,” the title track is an interesting interlude. A song that varies in tempo and gait.

“Rubedo,” crackles with energy. A song that takes and takes and then ducks through the sonisphere and brings completion.

“Evenfall,” slowly weaves its way to completion.

Manam have delivered an outstanding album here. Be sure to check it out when it is released on 3rd April via Rockshots Records.
