“Serpents Die,” kicks off proceedings, withering through the vine and turning the screws on the presence of the human mind. As it works its way through the tumultuous catacombs of time, the listener is engrossed fully.
“I Will Lose You,” is slow, melancholic and thoughtful. Pushing at the strains of time to ensure the world turns on a knife.
“And Silence Screamed,” pushes things further than they’ve gone before. The melodies roll in hard, the vocals turn and press and the listener is fully hooked in.
