Kenton Chen, a second generation immigrant and a member of the LGBTQ community steps forward with his new song “Overwhelm,” a song about the challenges and obstacles in being as he was and how to connect the two completely different communities together.
The song is big, simple and emphatic. The words come crashing out in a cascade, ensuring that the listener is filled with hope and also with empathy.
