What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?

The band is  inspired and dedicated to Massy, a common friend who toured with most of us for more than 20 years in previous bands. When he passed his sister told us that he wanted most of the members to come back in a band together, and so we did. One day we were in the studio working at the first album and we were talking about him with his sister and she told us that the first ever movie she saw was Total Recall and it was with him, and it was a great memory. We immediately chose it as band name, also cause we are fans of 80’s thrash movies, especially the governator’s ones. Our influences are really vast as we listen to tons of different music but we can say that we get inspiration from Metalcore, Black Metal, Deathmetal, and Heavy Hardcore.

How do you approach songwriting?

The songwriting is a common effort. We usually start from an idea or a single riff and then we gradually add the rest creating a structure that is solid. The end result needs to be ok for all of us, we do not really compromise, if we do not like the song entirely we drop it right away. Only this way we can be 100% sure that we will be able to play it live with the right attitude. We do not have any particular inspiration, it’s a creative process triggered by the bond we have and the meaning of the band in general.

Why do you write the sort of music that you do?

Is the only type of music that we like to write, since about the 1998. Back then it was called differently but it was the same shit. We always had the feeling to mix up styles and to combine them in definite structures easy to listen and powerful to play on stage

How do you decide what songs to perform live?

That’s pretty easy. Even though we are in the scene for more than 20-25 years this band is quiet new and we only have 1 ep and 1 album out. So the live set at the moment is the complete album in his exact song order.

What plans do you have for the future?

We are completing the live effort to support the release of our first Full

Length Always Together (https://open.spotify.com/artist/4CEQfQQ6l9oOaEJpuaa3co )

out pretty much everywhere via the Australian 1054 Records. After a series of club shows in Italy and a package Tour in France we will do a short tour in UK this early November (3-4-5) with No Second Chance and we will embark in small European Run in Italy, Germany, Holland and Belgium in early December (3-7-8-9-10). In the meanwhile

since a couple of months we are recording some pre productions. The new songs are surely more dark and heavy than the previous ones but at the same time they keep the same attitude. It’s a natural evolution of the 5 of us now working together since 3 years.

This new songs are reflecting our common influences in a more natural way. According to what our feelings will be about the pre prods we will decide if we will hit the studio for a Full Length or for an EP, but for sure in early 2023 we will release new music.
