Hammer_King_Poseidon

Poseidon Will Carry Us Home the title track comes with the guns blaring, the riffs are precise, the vocals are on fire, and the drums are pounding, everything is on point here. The King Is A Deadly Machine is a nice dance, powering through various melodies and darkness one by one. Battle Of Wars is a call to arms, powered by an anthemic riff, and some serious groove. 7 Days and 7 Kings is epic, right from the guitars to the melodies, all of it just screams epicness. Warriors Of Angelhill is a dance, from one element to the next, cavorting to produce something magical. Where The Hammer Hangs snarls, and powers, with the anthem just flowing forward at all cost.

Last Rites is an interesting song, taking bits and pieces of melody and mixing them together with Seal esque grooves. Glorious Night Of Glory is a song to bring the smile to your face, filled with energy and joy, and just pure metal. Locust Plague comes soaring into being with some seriously grooving riffs and powerful vocal melodies. At The Mercy of Waves is snarling, with some interesting time changes producing something quite different. We Sail Cape Horn is epic in size and scope, producing another beautifully crafted melody range. Meatus is a fitting closing song, filled with energy and dancing riffs.

The album is out 5th October via Cruz del Sur Music.
