Soul, one of the greatest things that humanity has ever produced has seen a littany of great artists grace it’s hollowed ground over the decades. New York based Grace May steps into the light and delivers something ethereal on “Quiet.”
The instrumentation is just right, setting the tone perfectly for the mood of the song. May’s vocals are perfect, possibly hopeful, but also possibly sad, soaring with the right notes, whilst then descending into something else quite powerful all the same.
