“Out of Sight (Out Of Mind),”opens things up, the song is a slow moving one. It encourages thoughtfulness and reflectiveness. Francesca Louise is in her stride with some impressive soulful melodies on the vocals, whilst the rhythm on the guitar provides a nice accompaniment.

“Melancholic Antidote,” the title track comes to life with a grand piano melody that filters through and immediately captures the listener’s attention. As things progress, there’s a little bit of a duel within the piano melodies for dominance, which just adds to the grandeur of the song.

“If I’m Wrong,” has a subtle tint of country about it. The vocals are soulful and slightly mournful, whilst the guitar goes for a staccato rhythm that captures the feeling of things.

“Ride The Waters,” picks up the pace ever so slightly, turning into a call and response, a song that is sure to capture the imagination when performed live.

“Seasons Change,” slows things down, bringing a contemplative edge to proceedings.

“You Don’t Love Me Now,” is thoughtful, contemplative and an all round intriguing song, a great way to finish proceedings.
