“Forged In Black,”kicks proceedings off. An immediate battering ram to the face. The riffs slowly paint the image of a song that is meant to destroy. It achieves that quite nicely. The harmonizations and the subtle variations really bring this song to life.

“The Tide,” slowly builds up into a crescendo. A song that haunts the periphery and digs out the old medallions of truth and injustice.

“The Exodus,” is intimidating. A song that pounds the ground and subtly shifts through the strands of time to deliver the ultimate clearout.

“Fear Reflecting Fear,” changes things up considerably. It shifts through the changing melodical components of the band and delivers something intense.

“Sinner Sanctorum,” pushes the boundaries forward. It entwines with heaviness and destruction to deliver a true fistful of metal.

“Descent Of The Serpent,” is a relentless battering ram, and a fine finale.

The E.P. is out now.
