“Ascend,” is an interesting arrangement, taking divergent tones and changes. It brings about some sweeping movements, and some bolder, grander profusions. The vocals are eerie and haunting. “Defender,” comes in heavy with the bass, snorting and roaring through to completion, whilst the vocals maintain the illusion of something lying in wait.
“Longing Spirits,” is a journey, snarling and complete, filled with snarling vocals and some ethereal beats. “Heir to Silence,” is epic. Running up to the top and back down again, and never quite letting itself get pegged down easily.
