“The Dukes Return,”is anthemic and hopeful. The instrumentation builds into the melodies that expound upon the sense of joy and happiness at the return of the Dukes.

“The Ice Is Thin,” goes in for sombre and melodic. The piano work is simply exceptional, the interplay between the piano and the guitar is another phenomenal bit of magic.

“Freakshow,”is epic. A song that takes on grand proportions and drives a hard bargain.

“The Monitors,” works through the tempest. A song that combines intricate sound systems with old sensibilities to deliver a thunderous ode to the new regime.

“Man Of Machine,” works through the blistering night, to deliver something futuristic.

“The Last Time Traveller,” takes on epic proportions with the simple piano melody that drifts into something thoughtful and questioning.

“A Quest For Knowledge,” harmonises perfectly, delivering something soulful and addictive.

“The Great Brass Steam Engine,” is another futuristic song that delves into the depth of human emotion.

“When Ravens Cry,” is soulful and thoughtful, a song that combines differing elements within the band’s repertoire to make things sing.

“Until Then,” is the sombre finale.

The album is out on 7th August via Frontiers Music.
