The Serpents Tongue is a statement of intent, powerful and aggressive, shaped on the back of a powerful riff and some dark melodies. Truth in Suffering is another eclectic song, dancing around the cusp of power, whilst also ensuring that the listener is kept hooked. Astral Projection slithers, and snakes its way across the pantheon, building itself into the listener’s ears and ensuring they are hooked. Still Waiting moves slowly, but with growing purpose ensuring the listener is kept intrigued.
Beautiful Nothing is a mix of emotions, filling itself around and down, before shifting into overdrive. Without The Fear snarls around and produces power. Mountain is a fitting closer, suitably grandiose with elements of pain and carnage thrown in.
