Cryptex are back with a brand new album entitled Once Upon A Time. And we can guarantee that you’re going to love it.

“Once Upon A Time,” kicks things off for Cryptex. Starting with an interesting synth/ keys melody it then gives way to a soaring guitar riff and a changing tempo that really breeds an interesting perspective on things.

“Because The Reason Is You,” is another contemplative song from Cryptex. It ensures the listener starts considering their choices and pondering where the good and the bad are. The vocals are thoughtful and considerate.

“Bloodmoon,” features some absolutely stellar piano work. A song that is bound to get listeners singing along from the get go. The guitar work in this song is simply haunting as well. All of this lends extra gravitas for when the vocals finally kick in and the world gets a true sense of proportion.

“Body Language,” saunters with confidence and grace. A song that is filled to the brim with intriguing melodies and snap shots. The vocals are truly quite impressive, reaching new heights as time progresses.

“Two Horned Crown,” develops an interesting template, it shifts between working for all and twisting the room to suit its needs. The little flourishes here and there truly develop something enchanting.

“Haunted,” moves with groove and precision. The piano intro is well timed and gets the blood pumping. The guitars come in and start twisting the narrative ever so slightly, ensuring that Cryptex have their talent fully on display.

“Reptiles,” takes a slower jaunt through the stratosphere. It brings with it some divergent guitar work, shifting the tones and the melodies ever so slightly to bring about a general push in numbers.

“I Don’t Know Why,” ventures forth into an interesting little slip stream. Taking a turn here and there, and filling the listener’s ears with a sonic delight.

“The Promise Keeper,” is all about the intricate guitar lines being brought to the fore. The slight divergences and the shifting templates that encompass all that has gone before.

“I See It In Your Eyes,” is a haunting melody. A whisper on the wind. A song that backed by a solid piano line brings Cryptex to the vantage point of time.

“A Mourning,” is instrumental, a tempest on the waves of time that allows the listener to truly consider where everything is heading.

“Leaving,” finishes everything off in grand style.
