“Plunder of Thoughts,” is the seismic opener to the new album by Communic. It has jackhammer riffs and snarling vocals that capture the listener’s imagination and paint a picture of the world that is unfolding. The chorus is anthemic. A strong start. “Hiding From The World,” is the title track of the album it is filled with melodical countenances that dip and dive, bringing together a sonorous indication of where time is going. The listener is brought into a new world. “My Temple Of Pride,” is heavy, aggressive and deep. The song floats from one part of an anthem to the next with seemingly infinite capabilities. The story that unwinds from this telling is something else entirely.

“Scavengers Await,” hits the nail on the head hard. It is a song that is filled with passion, grace and driving anger. It is a song that is sure to get people going when they hear it, for it enraptured the reviewer so thoroughly. “Soon To Be,” presses onward with a time honoured baton into the void and toward deliverance. The medium through which this is chosen is simple enough, a ground swelling push toward modernity and the end. “Forgotten,” is epic. A song that starts off softly with a strum of acoustic guitars, moves into overdrive, producing some seriously bone chilling melodies and riffs. An epic way to finish the album.

Hiding From The World is out on 20th November via AFM Records.
