“The Pendulum,”starts proceedings off with a furious riff. It sounds almost thrash like, the vocals are haunting and surreal. The band are in perfect synchronization with one another and are churning out the metallic fury that everyone needs now and again. A brilliant opener.

“Snakes of Goliath,” is a riff monster. A song that could’ve come from the Black Sabbath playbook. It turns and twists with a ferocity that belies is tempo. The vocals weave themselves into the listener’s conscious and develop a system for unleashing chaos that is sure to be a hit when performed live.

“Sub Zero,” is a short interlude, a song that allows the guitars to really do their thing.

“Aftershock,” is a fascinating distortion of the melody and chaos.

“Porcelain Skull,” brings out the legendary heaviness. The riffs shake the ground and demand the sky pay attention to them. What a phenomenal song.

“The Cold Room,” is an interesting finisher, one that slowly shifts through the strands of time and brings about a subtle finish.

The E.P. is out on 27th March via Napalm Records.
