“I Am The Night,” is a blistering introduction. A return from Ashes of Ares that displays all the best qualities of the band. A snarling vocal lead, a crushing riff machine that leads the charge, followed by big and boastful chorus.

“Primed,” starts off slowly, twisting and turning before exploding into a machine gun frenzy of riffage.

“Emperors and Fools,” is beautifully executed. Starting off softly, allowing Barlow to slowly creep into vision before exploding into a monster of a vocal line, as the band explore their full potential in epicness.

“What Tomorrow Will Bring,” is a heavy monster of a song. Slowly swaggering away with groove and pressure, turning the dials through the monstrous desire for time and patience.

“Gone,” creeps into the darkened sunrise of time and space.

“Monster’s Lament,” is simply epic, the perfect finisher.

The album is out on 21st January via ROAR.
