What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?

Adam: The name remains to be open for interpretation. And our influences are bands such as Karnivool, Monuments, Northlane, Architects and Loathe, just to name a few bands, who shaped our style of music.

How do you approach songwriting?

Adam: The songwriting process is always instrument-driven. Most of the time, our guitarist Raphael comes up with a whole song structure, as he has an immense creative ouptut, presents the song to us and together in the rehearsal room, we finish up the whole thing. Lasse does the lyrics and the vocal line, I finish up the bass line.

Why do you write the sort of music that you do?

Adam: Each one of us believes, that metal(core) is the best way to express ourselves… and to be honest, it is just a lot of fun to play metal.

How do you decide what to perform live?

Adam: We always try to set up a dramaturgy throughout our concert – starting with a catchy song, making the crowd curious and stick with us, then hitting really hard in the middle of the set up with the strongest and most powerful song and rounding up the live set with a last neck breaker song.

So, if we have identified the three strongest songs for the set, we build up the remaining things for a flowing set list. Weighing up, which songs we want to play or which are new or which are the most popular ones. Then we figure out, how transitions from one to another song would work and program the time code based live project.

What plans do you have for the future?

Adam: Recording our first album this and next year and play as much concerts as we can!
