What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?

The name of the band was actually meant to be the name for our debut album back in the day. Then a friend of the band observed it’ll make a better name for the band since, according to him it actually represented what the sound of the band was all about, and we all loved it, so there it is now.

How do you approach songwriting?

Actually song writing nowadays come from the experiences that we have. Back in the day it was all about writing the most aggressive, killer and perhaps catchy riff you could come up with, then later since that is quite a given, what I aim is to translate the feelings of a given experience into the music. It has worked very well for me, I have to say.

Why do you write the sort of music that you do?

This is the music that inspires me. I guess it is a way to channel everything that happens, and it is the soundtrack to my life in a way. SO I guess that pretty much determines why I write this kind of music.

How do you decide what songs to perform live?

I guess that is very easy once the album is ready. Now with 3 records is quite fun, because you have an equilibrium on fast / heavy / killer songs and some others mid tempo and softer ones to balance the set and give everybody a good time.

Though sometimes, there are crowds that only like fast / heavy songs and some others that like mellower stuff, so it always depends on where are you playing live as well.

What plans do you have for the future?

We are working on a leftover song from the ‘New beginngs are met’ sessions, as well as a video fir the track ‘Our Problem’.

Once that song is ready, it’ll come out as a single, and then after that we will concentrate on preparing our next album.
