How did the band form? What are your influences?

The band was formed in May/June 2019 by Luana and Fernanda, when they were still part of Nervosa. They later called the Dutch guitarist Sonia Anubis and formed the trio. From there, they started looking for the second guitarist, until I, Tainá, got in touch with Fernanda when I heard about the new project asking if they needed a guitarist, this in April 2020. I joined in May 2020 and so the band went public. The band is influenced by the old school sub-genres of the style.

How did you approach writing for the new record?

The album was written from a distance. We all wrote riffs and shared them via google drive, and each one fit their instrument there, until finally the vocals and solos were added. So was the pre-production of the record, analyzing music by music changing, removing, adding things.

Are there any songs in particular that you think listeners should pay close attention to?

I think the song Possessed, it has some variations and breaks between the guitars and drums, everything follows a different line like it’s wrong, I love it.

How has the pandemic affected you?

Well, I think it’s affecting more now that we have a record out and we can’t be on stage playing and promoting it. Anxiety increases a little more. As for the compositions I don’t think it affected much because we live far from each other so we would be composing at a distance anyway, I believe. I know that a good part of the world is getting back to normal now, but for us (me, Fernanda and Luana), who live in Brazil, it’s more difficult to get shows, as vaccines are late compared to other countries.
