What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?
The band name was inspired by where Kwame and I grew up, Baytree road in Brixton.
How do you approach songwriting? Are there any themes that you are keen to explore when you start off?
I could be singing about racial injustice about a broken heart or about having a fight same rules apply
Firstly it has to have feeling emotion and meaning.

Why do you write the sort of music that you do?
I write what I know what I’ve lived if I haven’t lived it I can’t write it or even relate to it
How do you decide what songs to perform live and how do you transpose them into that live setting?
As we produce write and record our own music we spend lots of hours rehearsing so we can do our songs justice when there performed

What plans do you have for the future?
For as many people as possible to hear our music I believe our music can help and bring joy to others that’s the main reason we do it.
