What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?
I wanted to create a memorable and powerful name, but without using any existing word. So I combined mythology and biblical words to create my own.
Armagelion and his mythology come from the fascination for Sci fi, comic books and larger than life characters. Armagelion is the character I never saw, the entity I become when I’m on stage.
My biggest influences are the great hard rock bands of the 80s. Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Europe.
How do you approach songwriting? Are there any themes that you are keen to explore when you start off?
I take inspiration from anywhere. I especially like to write about emotions that everyone can identify with.

Why do you write the sort of music that you do?
Since I was a child, I got hooked on the sound and performance of the great hard rock bands of the 80s. Powerful drums, high pitched vocals, catchy melodies.
I wanted to create the perfect combination between theatricality and music.
How do you decide what songs to perform live?
I try to create a setlist that covers everything the fans want to hear, but I always try to include a few surprises. Some song that they do not expect, but they would love to hear.
Also, I like to make variations to the songs when playing live. I think for fans it’s always interesting to hear the song they love but with a special flavor. Keeps it fresh.

What plans do you have for the future?
I have a new single to come, which is already done as the next preview to the upcoming album.
The upcoming single is sensual and energetic. It’s called “Playing with Fire”
Also, I’m planning to hit the road this year.
