“Never Die,”the opening track on this powerful team up between Russel Allen and Annette Olzon, shimmers into being. Humming through a melodic overture, whilst slowly building into a crescendo. And when that crescendo comes, boy is it powerful. The song is strong and mighty, and a little bit intimidating.

“Worlds Apart,” is somewhat more melodic, flitting through like a butterfly. It touches upon some inner element, before darkening and becoming a real rocker.

“I’ll Never Leave You,” is powerful and melodic. A song that is sure to get people pumped if performed live. There’s so much intricacy weaved into the song that it definitely leaves one’s jaw on the floor.

“What If I Live?” is a pure serenade. Olzon’s vocals take centre stage here, and transform into something blissful. The listener is given a real treat as the guitars come in strong as well.

“Lost Soul,” allows the strings and the synths a moment in the sun before coming in strong with the guitars. They dominate for a moment, allowing rhythm and change to flow through, before the vocals come in strong, as a double team nonetheless.

“No Sign Of Life,” darkens the skies with melancholy and dread. The vocals are perfect, fitting seamlessly together and enabling something close to perfection.

“One More Chance,” filters through. A patter here and there, a chance to embrace the light whilst running from the darkness. You can really hear the desperation and the need for confirmation in the vocals.

“My Enemy,” a song that brims with energy and rage. The two of them mix together quite well, and ensure the listener is hooked from the moment the guitars begin their duelling chemistry.

“Who You Really Are,” moves and grooves with the best of them. Brimming with confidence and charm.

“Cold Inside,” slowly contorts and changes internally. Bringing the scene up to date and allowing the world to grow and change.

“Who’s Gonna Stop Me Now,” is powerful and a fitting finale for an awesome album.

The record is out on 6th March via Frontiers Music.
