What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?

The band name came up in conversation when I said it kinda jokingly and Jordan our
drummer really likes the name. Our influences are all over the music genres, I would
say our music is influenced by The Ghost Inside, Alpha Wolf, Memphis May Fire, and
A Skylit Drive.

How do you approach songwriting?

We approach songwriting by taking riffs that we record on pro tools by
ourselves and we see what style we want the next song to be. We take the riffs
that are in the same key and we start assembling songs. We have the theme I
would say of talking about emotional and mental struggles. I like to write
uplifting and powerful songs as well so it just depends on the mood of the
song instrumentally.

Why do you write the music that you do?

I am huge on mental health, awareness of what is going on with oneself. I have had
many times when I fell into that dark place in my mind, we all battle something
everyday. I just want to let it out and tell the world through my struggles and my
feelings that they weren’t alone and that we can overcome it

How do you decide what songs to perform live?

I like to look at what is most popular, then take into account the bands playing
and where we are on the lineup. We have a lot of high intensity songs so when
it comes to transposing we like to either give each other a second to readjust,
tune, talk to the crowd and then we bring the next song.

What plans do you have for the future?

As a band, we are planning on shooting a music video for our first song off the
record called “Offerings” releasing spring time. We have poured our hearts and
souls into this record and the music to come. I’m talking with a bunch of
bands, planning some summer shows since we are taking this time to write the
record and crank out some new tunes.
