“The Creed,”haunts the playground of the musical world. Shok Paris set the tone nicely here.
“Full Metal Jacket,” is a ripper. A song that is led by a bounding riff and a fantastic melody. It changes perspective and bites with the aggression of a world gone mad. Slowly but surely the world turns on a knife.
“Nature Of The Beast,” another riffer. Shok Paris really bring the scene to life. The riffs are gigantic and filled with heart. The melodies attack the listener with full force.
“Do Or Die,” snarls with a whip hand. Shok Paris ensure each individual member gets a chance to shine, and the song is better for it.
“Metal On Metal,” hits the right note. A song that turns with a twist and delivers a smackdown of everything and everyone, brims with confident.
“Brothers In Arms,” rolls with the thunder. A song that ventures into territory previously unexplored and delivers up some very juicy melodies.
“Black Boots,” a song that moves with groove and swagger. A song that allows Shok Paris to really show off their talents. It flits between one level and the next, floating like a butterflying whilst always having the killer instinct hanging there.
“Hell Day,” another ripper. A song that is built on the back of a great riff and a tornado of emotion.
“Those Eyes,” moves with grace and speed.
“Fall From Grace,” speeds things up ever so slightly, bringing with it a turn in attitude.
“Symphony Of The Sea,” rolls hard and fast. A song and a half that unnerves the listener and delivers up a tectonic reaction.
“Up The Hammers,” a thundering notion of what is and isn’t right about the scene.
The album is out on 29th May via No Remorse Records.
